ABOUT MULLOWAY FISHING
Mulloway are considered the holy grail in lure fishing due to their extreamely elusive nature. They can be found in many environments including offshore reefs, bays, estuarys and the upper reaches of rivers however Mulloway are most commonly found around river mouths and the surrounding beaches and rocky headlands where food is abundant. Mulloway seem to be picky when it comes to their feeding habits, mostly feeding at night however there are some conditions that they favor including flood water, tumultuous surf, oncoming low pressure systems, low light and the changing of tides which is a start when it comes to focusing your efforts on when and where to catch Mulloway on lures. Fishing for Mulloway requires a dedicated fisherman who is willing to put in the long hours and as a wise man once said, persistence pays!
