We made our way up to Wingan, which is situated on the mid north coast of New South Wales, to meet up with Brian Bochow, founder of BJ Custom Baits, who specialises in spinnerbait fishing lures.

None of us had used spinnerbaits before nor had we ever targeted Australian Bass, therefore we collectively decided that talking to a guru in the field would be a good first step!

Thanks to our good friend, Owen McPaul, a meeting with Brian was organised, and we all went forth!
