Its one of the most common questions, "what are the best lures for bream fishing?" And i must say, its a loaded question because there are so many lures out there that will catch bream. So, what we've done is looked back at our experience in fishing lures and catching bream and made a list of the lures that have worked best for us. The ZX30 is another widley used lure that comes from the Ecogear stable. This blade is very unique in its design with two trailing stinger hooks instead of treble hooks and a range of great colours. I've had a lot of success on this lure, especially when the bream are schooled up in the winter months.

This hard body lure i use a fair bit when targeting bream on the flats. Its cast ability is great allowing me to cover a lot of ground and the lure works well with slow and quick retrieve speeds and also responds well to aggressive twitching which makes a lot of flash in the water. A great hard body lure for bream
Depth - 0.4 - 0.8m Weight - 4.7g Length - 80mm Type - Suspending
Techniques - Slow roll / twitch and pause

Arguably the best shallow water hard body lure of all time! When Nories Japan discontinued it Australian anglers managed to get them to do yearly productions for the Australian market. This hard body lure has been used by bream anglers for many years and has an impressive record in the tournament scene too. A must have!

9) Ecogear MX48
The MX48 hard body lure by Ecogear is another great lure for the flats and shallow edges with a nice subtle rolling action and a mean darting action when twitched with the rod tip. When it comes to super shallow water you cant go wrong with this fishing lure.
