Jake Villani and Chris Montgomery are out in Port Phillip Bay, near Black Rock, chasing Squid. I must say we didn't intend to chase them, in fact we were targeting pinkie Snapper but when hours past without a fish Chris decided to tie on a Squid Jig and cast it around to see if any lurked about. Personally, i had never chased nor caught a squid so when he landed his first one i was quick to switch my lure to a Squid jig.
Theres always something to learn from people and that day i definetely learned a few pointers from Mr Montgomery. We went on to catch numerous squid as you will see in the video!
