Fishing for Yellow Belly Perch on Lures | Fishing Video

Jake Villani fishes a hidden section of water that rests on the outskirts of the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. With the permission of the land owner we were granted access to the beautiful man made dam thats home to a rather large family of Yellow Belly Perch, also known as Golden Perch. Using basic lure techniques you can see how we went about catching these Australian native fish. It wasn't the first time we had fished this water and it definitely won't be the last!

Lure of choice was Ecogear Grass Minnow soft bait with a Fish Arrow J Spin attachment.
