Review - Bass Hunter EX

Jake takes the Bass Hunter EX out for the very first time and shows you the versatility of this little boat. Since then i can give you some more information on the little beauty! Firstly, as you can see in the video and pics, if you don't have stuff in the right place it will obviously put the boat off balance, for e.g; you can see how the nose is angled toward the water and thats due to having the battery for the electric motor sitting beside the elec motor and then me next to it! This was no good because i had all the weight at the front, even though The Bass Hunter EX managed it fine, its a good idea to put the battery at the back of the boat and balance the vessel as best as possible to maximise its balance and efficiency.

We have now taken the Bass Hunter to a variety of waters including rivers both wide and skinny, shallow and deep and it has proven worthy on every outing. The most testing has been using it in our native Australian Bass waters which can prove to be the most challenging having to navigate over sand, rock and rapid. However we have manage to do it time and time again. These vessels are perfect to the angler on a budget or one that wants to access water where boats are not allowed.

The next step for us is to get a small 3hp outboard attached which will make it more worthy for some of our local rivers. Looking forward to that upgrade.
